I heard on the radio about KORN.

I was never really a fan - but it did surprise me.

To each their own - hope he finds what he is looking for.

Cuthbert Glad you found my tongue in cheek comment amusing, although I've got a bigger smile out of BBM's confusion over the issue - lol

Cube Man you would be right at home in Korn............. Cube on a leash -lol

MikeSB So did Gary Moore do Colosseum II after Thin Lizzy ? Correct me if I'm wrong but Skid Row was what brought GM to London, which is where he hooked up with Phil and the boys right ?

MariMari Congrats on the 400.............. remember quality not quantity ;-) You must be gutted about NAMM as well... I saw that Favored Nations had a stand there on Vai's site, Johnny Hiland, Mimi Fox and Billy were hanging out, maybe Johnny A as well !

Michelle- Very irritating to have snow today but no day off! I still have my fingers crossed though for tomorrow LOL!

Jazzzzzzzy- Hi, I have not read the Harry Potter books, but liked the films- especially the third one- the best one in my opinion. :-)

Bahduh- SE England does seem to get rain more than snow- but this is why I LOVE LOVE LOVE it when the snow gets me a day off to do as I please!

Amy Lee- Yep, this is a great site, I agree! Good luck and karma with all you and your band do. You sound like a cool cat! :-)

Punk Trio Blink-182 on 'Indefinite Hiatus'

Reuters - California pop-punk trio Blink-182, famed for its practical jokes and disdain for clothing, has gone on "indefinite hiatus," with no plans to work together again, its Geffen Records label said Tuesday.

962: Well, I didn't really consider doing music as a profession until about age 15 (after a year of guitar lessons) when I started to gtet good (well, I don't know about that haha! lets' just say better). before that, I was looking at becoming a film/video editor like my father, or a computer graphics artist. I was big into CGI modeling and animation before hgihschool (probablly would have done okay in that field) and film making during highschool. In middle school I REALLY wanted to be a comic book artist, and I got really good at drawing in kind of a Jim Lee/ McFarlane style during that period (I even studied articles on anatomy and memorized muscle groups and how they looked haha!). I think middle school (during which I played clarinet) started to make me consider music, because that was the first instrument that I could see that I was up in the top 10% in terms of abilities. I mean, I was, and am still good at piano, but it takes me WAY longer to learn a Chopin piece than it does someone who just kills on the instrument. Anyway....it seems like the only things I ever considered as jobs were risky, artistic endeavors....I guess it's always been about trying to earn decent wage while loving what I do, instead of making a killing and wanting to put a bullet in my head.....I'll let you know how a make out haha!

I wich I could realised my husband dream to meet Jo and have one of is JS guitare signed by Jo. He is a huge fan of Jo and did a tribute to him at a popular bar as a guitare player. I am with my boyfriend since 6 years ago. He always suprised me with very special things he does for me. Last year he arrange me a meeting with my favorite artist. It was the nicest thing someone ever did for me. I know that it might never append that my husband realized his biggest dream to meet his "hero" Jo, but I have to try. We live in Canada and I would be willing to buy him a airplane ticket to make is dream comes true. I love him very much and I know that I could'nt give him a better surprise than this. Hope to hear from you back... If not, I will try to make it appen some day some how an other time!

Thank you to Jo to inspire my husbund so much.

962 hey Simon! Life's not half as bad as it was in blighty! lol Things going OK, and it's funny you mentioned bar gigs - I said to my bro-in-law only 2 days ago that I'm sure there's tons of live music to see here and I've not seen ONE GIG since I got here! I'll get on the case ;-)

Delfino that's a shame about the respray job. Let's hope you get some time to do what you want/need before Uni. I'm doing OK, almost used to the idea of driving on the right hand side of the road now! lol As to the final track list I'm not sure. There have been some very good sounding submissions (and mostly from people I've never even heard of! lol) - so I'm not sure if any "regulars" will stick one in at the last minute a la Beckham, but as soon as *we* know the track listing I'm sure you guys will too pretty soon afterwards.

Paul that was flattering to read. Thanx bro :-)

dck Is your CD burner working? <hint hint> :-D And don't you have something to send me anyway? <hint hint hint> :-D Later peeps, sadly I gotta get outta here... internet connection very dodgy over the last few days :-(

VFRocker, Actually Skid Row brought Gary from Belfast to Dublin in 1968. Phil Lynott was the singer on the very first Skid Row single in early 69. Then of course he left to form Lizzy and Skid Row continued as a "Cream" like power trio until 72. Gary then had a solo record, Grinding Stone and worked and was in Lizzy in 73 thru 74 after Bell left. Colosseum II was in late 74 early 75 through 77.

Here endeth the lesson lol!!!!

Sorry, couldn't resist using that line from Sean Connery's character in "The Untouchables"... Love that movie!!!
