Hi Joe,
Enjoy your playing and songs. I admire your discipline in mastering the instrument. Gives me hope and a goal to reach for.
My question or suggestion. Have you ever thought of doing a Christmas album?
Thanks,
Johnny B.

Hey Joe, I'm a huge fan. When i listen to you play, I know that's what i wanna do. Your music gives me a goal to strive for. One day I hope to be half as good as you are. But, I was just wondering, in modern music the guitar has been kind of shoved into the background. I mean, it's a rare thing to have a decent solo in the song. I was just wondering what you thought about that and if you think the golden age of the guitar will come again? Anyway, I think Johnny B. has a point, you should do a Christmas album. That would be awesome.

Hi everyone, just wanted to drop in and say that i got a DS-1 and a CH-1 for x-mas! Wow, these sound great through my JCM800. Does anyone else own these? For the price of the DS-1, ($50 at my local guitar shop) it's a very good pedal. And the CH-1 is just tasty, adds a subtle sound when on the right settings.

hey guys, just thought i'd pop in and say hello for old time sakes :) hope all is well here...and i hope everyone had a great holiday and best wishes in 2004. Brandon...hamdo...just keep your eyes open, and your chin up man. You've set yourself some goals; goals you can reach. Just don't lose focus, or confidence. You've already come a long way, and thank you for making my life happier each day. The encouragment and wisdom you have shared with me in the basics of everyday life have greatly expanded and molded my views from this idealistic way of thinking, to a realistic way of seeing things as they really are. Thank you...
sorry for rambling everyone... :)

Beezer: try these settings on the Deville, treble 5, mid4, bass 4-6 depending on the room, presence 6, bright switch off. This setup sounds great, and is especially good if you are running something like a ds1 or a tube screamer into the amp. Just set the volume so that it is as loud as you want without any breakup.
MATT: Merry Christmas man, good to hear from you!
Sharif: You too! haha!

Hey joe;
it is nice and exciting to talk to you...and i cant believe that i can ask you question...anyway my question is `i really want to know that..How do you get that "Wah tone" in the Love Thing? and what gear do you use for that song?especially for Wah...Of course you have big ROCK units and many more equipment...but i checked your gear list i have seen 4 types of wah...which one do you prefer?...can u please tell me joe? Thank you very much
Also, what i learnt from you is ; a guitar player doesn't need to be SUPERFAST...what a guitar player needs playing clearly and feeling it..and than when learning playing fast to combine them...thanx for that
Also i am from turkey and you have to know that there are many people loves you...and you really kick ass... :))

Happy Birthday, Jeff Campitelli!
I can't believe it's been three years since the LISF gig. Time flies. I still remember waiting in line outside The Fillmore like it was yesterday. Man, those shows (12/28 and 12/29) were awesome. I think SWTA from 12/28 was the highlight of both nights. Joe was going crazy...it sounded great. I'd love to hear that one again.
Anyway, everyone should try to watch the DVD tonight. I feel bad admitting this, but I think it's been at least a year since I've watched the entire show. As I just said, though, I still remember it in my head as if it happened yesterday.
The Prez - I think it's interesting that Bill (Keanu Reeves) has been in several great movies, but Ted (Alex Winter) hasn't done much of anything other than B&T.
kenny777 - Joe used a Boss DS-1 distortion pedal at the LISF gig.
...Austin...

Hey Guys, just driftin' through, one day back at 'work' and then another 6 off - kick ass ;-)
Cube Checked out 'Something you should know ?', nice work man, you really know how to get that edgy, ominous feel into a track, some great licks in there as well and I love the title as well.
Ovation Hey Mike ! I got 'Billy Cobham's Glass Menagerie' for Xmas and your man Mike is loooking very young but sounding very mature, great player in a great context. Nice jazzy DVD as well, put it on the list bro ;-)
Tastey Okay that kinda makes a lot of sense, hope the dice roll the way you want them too.
Michelle Man, bombarded by crap music at work, I had the same problems here with the admin staff, too much already ! Nevermind its all over for another year now. For me the best song of the Xmas period was on 'The Osbournes Xmas Special' with Ozzy and the dog sat at the piano singing 'Cats are c**ts', I nearly choked on my whiskey - classic TV moment.
Alrighty then guys, I'm gonna ride off into the sunset again, I know its early but Happy New Year to one and all !, I hope 2004 is a killa year for everyone in here ;-)

Mr. Nick --- I bought a Yamaha MD8 8-track recorder some years ago for $800 secondhand and thought it was a steal! Those things usually go new for about $1300 new. By all means, grab it! :) I haven't done any major projects with it yet, but that's not saying that you couldn't. And it can't be beat for getting quick ideas down. Best of all, it's a digital recorder, not an analog. Keep in mind though, that it uses MD Data Disks for storage medium, sort of a 'multi-track' version of a MiniDisc, therefore the quality it records at is somewhat akin to a 256kbps MP3. Of course, if this isn't an issue for you, then I say go for it. It doesn't really sound that bad at all.
Hope everyone's Christmas was cheery, and wishing everyone here a Happy New Year in 2004! :) New Years' Eve and New Years' Day happen to fall on my two days off this week, YAAY! :) Picking up my fiancee at 7pm, going to my mom's house for steamed shrimp, to Gannman's house to par-tay and get appropriately toasted, and back to my place for nookie, hee hee. :) All before the stroke of 2. Um...okay, maybe not. The nookie may last a while...always does. :) A good time to be had by all involved is in the works...
Got some new music coming up soon. Just finished up a new track called 'Virtualita' and am in the process of doing test mixes now. As soon as it's finished I'll put up a link...
By the way, I have re-edited this post 16 times. For a keyboardist that's pretty sad. I need to get my stuff out of storage...I am seriously out of practice. I've been making music with a mouse a little too long...
Take care and stay safe this holiday season.

Hi, Joe!
Happy New Year!
Tell me, are you gonna play in Brazil with G3? We love you, Vai and Malmasteen, and, even the fact the Malmsteen hate us, don't take our wish to see you.
Sorry about my english, and thanks.
