To tell the truth, i'm not really competent about Ibanez guitars, but i've to admit that i feel something like a strange fascination after trying the JS2400

Before a few doubtful when i took it (she's so small & fluffy), i've to say now that this feather gets an incredible tone, as if she has been built for the blue feel (well.. just my opinion).

What do you try to create with the JS2400 Joe? Something like a "Blue Violin"?

I don't think that i will renonce to the Stratus thing.. but well.. the JS2400 talks immediatly to me, so..

Thx for this one, Joe.

Hi Joe. Just wanted to let you know that you are a great inspiration to the guitarists in the band 'Motion Device'. Josh and Alex are 17 years old and both play ibanez guitars. The band has covered 'Circles' and 'The Forgotten (Part 2)' in past set lists. The other members of the band are Andrea (14 yrs old) on keys and bass, David (12 yrs old) on drums and Sara (9 yrs old) on lead vocals.

If you have the time, please check out the video posted below of the band preparing for Canada's Got Talent with a cover of Led Zep's 'Whole Lotta Love'. We are just waiting to be discovered and maybe have a chance to go on the road and be an opening act for a band like yours! Keeping our fingers crossed!

Well I only got to see about a song and a half of the webcast last night. Looks like there's a possibility tonight!

I managed to listen to the whole cd between last night and this morning. More of a casual listen than a real "by myself" listen! =) Gotta say I LOVE the mix of this cd so much better. This is some great stuff in my little humble opinion.

I love the Untitled track. Joe friggin rips on that tune! Nice unexpected addition.

Sorry to hear it scubz. Hope you find some work soon.

Wolley, did Howie Mandel steal Joe's look too? lol!

That stolen guitar story is where somebody literally DID steal it from their cold dead hands. Nasty! Stealing from the living is pathetic enough, but stealing from the dead opens up a whole new gate to hell. lol!

So, for the "Chickenfoot sucks" people...what don't you like about it. My first guess is the lyrics but I'd like to get yer take on it.

JemJVM jubilee's and 6100's and 1959 still do better cleans than the modded jvm .. it sounds a bit thin IMHO .. but it needs to cut with a band

JemJVM i have played real 1959's and jtm45's and the jvm sounds nothing like these .. i understand you like the jvm .. it is a cool amp .. i like the vintage modern better once you add too many knobs and features you really lose tone ..

Cube _ The VM gets the Marshall dna. With pieces like Modefour or JVM, Marshall is like trying to go onto Mesa Boogie territory, and failing.. well.. just my feeling.

Chelle....if only....there should be a mandatory CF or Joe Satriani day every month in my office AND we should get to have an office kitteh for stress relief. sigh.....at least everyone here knew it was "Chickenfoot Day" yesterday and that I was rushing home to see the webcast last night :) And some of those people even get the name right, although...

this morning a co-worker asked me how the chicken-fingers show was......sigh again....

JemJVM my guess is you have played the reissue's cause my 72 metal plate sounds a world different .. the jvm was designed to compete with other high gain amps sounds very much like diode clipping and has the treble that can not be dialed out like most modern high gain amps .. Zenfish's comment was meant as to that .. not about 6l6 or 34 .. now as for your comment that 6l6 has better cleans .. well my slo has 6l6's as does my cornford .. the soldano cleans are crappy ..at best .. the cornford slightly better .. my jubilee has one of the best cleans i have heard .. thats also john frusciante's main clean and its el34 .. the clean and dirty is not based on the output but how the circut is designed so your statement is somewhat right but also wrong .. if you use fenders yeah 6l6 are great cleans on bassman , and twins .. but vox has great chimy cleans wi th el84's .dr z has some great amps with el34's that have sparking clean , and how about the divided by 13 stuff no 6l6 and awesome cleans . so for me the jvm is a modern amp with way too much going on and not enough good .. i am glad you like it and enjoy it . we will agree to disagree
