OUT OF THE SETLIST- i wish i could put my favorite VH albums in order of preference, but 5150, Woman and children first; are LP's and i don't have a record player anymore. i think the latter was my least favorite. i would have to go back and listen to some of them. i can't even remember what tunes were on OU812 and thats a CD by the way.

has anyone bought one of those record players where u can change the signal from analog to digital? would definitly be interested in doing that. i have so many old great albums that i would still love to listen to. Tod Rundgren, T-Rex, 10 yrs after, rolling stones, etc. etc. it would cost a fortune to replace them all, if you can even find them!!

Michelle- thanks for the video. those are like some of the worst stock anyone could pick!! come on! it was cute though. :) I am not one of those people that succumb to fear tactics, you just grouped evryone who doesn't like obama into this category. typical Obama speak. I know how to keep an open mind and get the facts. I just don't trust Obama and i don't like his policies. It is quite possible...he..is...........the ANTI CHRIST! I would be LOL if i didn't think it was true. http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=MgMO0L2nPwo

HEY JOE Thanx for the Massey Hall show , it was awesome , I appreciate that you took the time to sign my axe , take a pic and talk for a bit. I asked Joe about the Time Machine delay pedal , and he says it will be out early in the new year along with a new wah pedal as well . I seem to recall Joe saying something about that they all have phase switches in them (never tried phase shifting within the effects themselves, just at the pick up's)nice work Joe, cant wait to try these babies.Your performance was flawless as was the rest of the band. Jeff was tight as tight can be , and Galen , what can i say , a lot of crowd interaction for such a busy guy (buy the way Galen, my girlfriend thinks your hot , it's all I heard about on the way home till she fell asleep during the ride) and last but certainly not least , Stu....AMAZING , he makes it look so easy and effortless , he should definitely be double billed like Leslie West and Corky Laing are. Please give Stu a huge thank you for signing my bass after the show and tell him I'd gladly shoot him 20 bucks anytime for a signature (it was a joke so nobody get your panties in a twist). To sum it up Thank you Joe for a wonderful night, I was waiting over 20 years for this and i was lucky enough that you brought Stu along for the tour but in the same breath if it were not for Galen and Jeff , it would be a mess up there. Enjoy the rest of the tour. we will see you all again!!!!!!

Hello all...

Less than a week now and I will have my Club Joe experience.... yeah!!!! After 21 years as a fan...... met him back in april in rockville md but that was just too short...lol.

It is so cool that every once in a while you can meet the people who have been your inspiration.

What the ell?.... I come here to get away from the politics... who wants to sully this place with it...

LOOK.... both choices are BAD...

Barak happens to be a little worse.... let's tax businesses so they will have to leave the US to exist, and take their jobs with them. You can have success, just as long as it is not worth more than $250,000 a year. Byebye lotto winnings....lol. We want the gov't to supply you with everything... we will redistribute wealth to who we think should have it, while taking it from whomever we want. This would include your friends, your family, and you.

McCain - McCain-Feingold, McCain-Kennedy, Fairness Doctrine... need I really say more....

BTW... according to, I believe it is HR 1955 and SR 1959 (if not, just reverse the numbers), any website that posts speech including the social change... could be consider a terrorist website and it speech terrorism. Wonder who supported this one....

Why are the people who helped cause this economic crisis not in jail, let alone, helping to design and vote on the bail out? Franklin Raines, Chriss Dodd, and others....

As far as I am concerned, any elected offical who does not support and promote the interests (economic, governmental, social, etc..) of the American citizens they were elected TO SERVE, is a traitor and should be prosecuted accordingly.

Now can we just let the politics go and enjoy the ride down, cause they aren't enough good, non-corrupted individuals in gov't who are willing to take a stand to make a difference anymore. Most of the populus have become willing lemmings to walk off the cliff just because someone else can talk them into it anyway.

Hence my favorite made up saying is.... Darwin's theory doesn't work fast enough for me.....lol.

LAter,

GuitarSamuri

Hi. I'm new to this, so bear with me. I am a "shipwrecked" violin and piano player. However, I am an apprentice (Page) at a SF Bay Area city library--books, CDs and DVDs are my charges. I would like to begin a dialog with musicians about Copyright and how best to preserve it in the 21st century.

One more thing--I am a contemporary of Joe and was born almost exactly 11 months prior to him. What an honor to come into the world around the same time!

Anyway, Joe, do you have any ideas about Copyright preservation?

I saw Led Zepagain in concert again last night...they played for more than 2 1/2 hours, and stuck to the set the band played in the 1977 U.S. tour...complete with solos and everything. Very fun.

They said they're trying to put a nationwide tour together for next year (assuming Led Zeppelin doesn't do anything)...I'll keep everyone posted on that. They really are worth going to see.

Zinc Master - Haha...I find that preorder page more funny than it should be. I like how there's only a "coming soon" note, and you can't actually preorder it. ;-)
hybes - There could be a few different guitarists on the new GNR album, because it's been in the works forever and a lot of people have come and gone. The Wikipedia page for the band and the album lists Robin Finck of Nine Inch Nails and Bumblefoot as guitarists. Buckethead was in GNR a few years ago, so I bet some of his parts end up on the album too.

To answer your CD question, the reason versions from other countries are more expensive is usually just because that's how much it costs to ship it from wherever to the US so you can buy it. The international albums might have a bonus track, and they sometimes include an obi strip which are huge with collectors for some reason, but other than that they're identical (the recording quality is the same, etc.).

Every now and then you'll find a special remastered version of an album that was only re-released in Europe or Asia...or in some countries (Japan, especially) they'll re-release albums in CD cases designed to look like record sleeves or with other expanded/collectible packaging. But in most instances the music is identical to what's released in the US.

JS_JS - I don't know anything about All That Remains...what would be a good album to listen to?
blackmoon - Welcome back!
cheese101 - Thanks for sharing that interview...
figman - The Sammy / Mikey / Satch project also includes Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers on drums. The band doesn't have an official name yet, but they've been calling the project Chickenfoot.
lorenzo001 - There's some good stuff on OU812. Finish What Ya Started is the big single from that album, but I don't like that song all that much. I think Mine All Mine, A.F.U. (Naturally Wired) and Source Of Infection are all pretty cool. In fact, I think I'll listen to those now.
LucySorets - Welcome back...it's nice to see you here again. :-)

lorenzo001, some very good stuff you were mentioning there. i absolutly love todd rundgren. he is very under appriciated both for his guitar work and albums and his producing. he was also a pioneer in the video field. i have almost all of his stuff from "the nazz" to his current offerings. he was in tampa about 4 months ago and i had 4th row center stage seats in a very small venue. check out his website. http://www.tr-i.com

you can hook your turntable to your pc and record through media player. 1 of my friends has done this. i have been to lazy but i still have a turntable and regularly play my old LP's.

Hello all...

Thanks Larenzo001... I am from Richmond, Va.

The state where 'the eyebrow' Tim Kaine is from.... and Mark Warner too...

But I won't go into that unless really necessary....lol.

Oh BTW... if you guys haven't already found it... look for a kid Ramzi on youtube playing 'Surfing with the Alien'. He is only 12 and he rocks... yes he is playing it cause I helped teach him how to play parts of it...he take lessons at a guitar store up the street from me. I have become good friends with the owners and we have jams on saturday night sometimes.

Wholesale Guitars - wholesaleguitars.org and myspace.com/wholesguitars

And... some other friends of ours recently released their CD... This is a christian rock band, but they shred.... I have jammed with their guitar player. Check out King's Crown at myspace.com/kingscrownband

Tell me what you think....
