excel is that the face value of what the tickets cost, or the platinum package price? I was talking about the face value price for a ticket here. I have many times paid through outlets like ticketsnow.com $400.00 a piece for shows like Maiden, Halford and Queensryche, or G3 at the Beacon in NYC approx. $200 a piece, Rod Stewart $300 ea. all great seats but that wasn't there face value. I was merely commenting on the face value being quite low for an artist such as Joe...........a compliment I might add:)

DCK: Yeah, I was playing during most of the time that I wasn't working. My band was only rehearsing twice a week, but I just couldn't put the git down. I recently got a job at Digitech, in Sandy Utah. I'm trying to get settled as I start going back through some old recordings and try to work on the music again. I also have a new guitar on the way. A great friend in San Diego made it for me. It has a construction that I have never seen before; sort of like the construction of a McNaught only better. It is made from Black limba wood and the neck is maple w/ an ebony fb. I had this one made as a fixed bridge, the next one will be a seven w/ a Floyd. I love getting to know new guitars.
I want to give out a shout to my mate Clarky; sorry if I've missed any of your posts, I can't go through all of the postings since I last logged in, I'm just too busy. How the hell are you? Did you finish your CD?

Suzie2000......Can you tell me a Jimi album/cd that you would recommend for soemone who is familiar with his music, but never quite got involved? Sometimes you just miss some great music along the way. I feel like I missed a jewel but hey I was listening to Chick Corea, Return To Forever The Chick Corea Elektric Band being a huge Dave Weckl and Billy Cobham fan. I am sure there are some here who haven't given them much attention:)

Noticed the wink.
Does that mean you are a girlie? Ladyboy?
Just kidding Scott, no offence!
I happen to agree, we need more of the ladies, here, at gigs, and listening to good electric guitar based music.
Steve.

Hey, an awesome article through Sony about Joe.....
Credit to Sam at foreverjoe.com for finding this!! It's on his site under "latest news", or you can go here to Sony:
March 26th article
It takes a bit to load the page, then click Bio to go to the article...
It's a great read, and Joe speaks about what led him to create Super Colossal, where he's been with past records and why he made SC now!
:)

Excel-
Wow, Melanie! I really admire you coming all the way to Houston, TX from UK for the show. I have Plat Pkg tickets to that show too and I'm getting a bit anxious. Would you keep me posted as to when you receive yours? I have heard of some confusion about tickets being mailed or picked up at the 'Will Call' booth. If anybody finds out please post. Thanks!
