CLARKY - Dude you are one driven kinda guy............ i wish i had your kinda motivation. I think i smoked and drank a lot of mine and spent far too long at work in my twenties, as they say 'you'll wish that you worked harder' when you were still at school, i'm doin' okay i guess, no degree but i'm still on more dosh than the grads in my place........... mushn't grumble ;-) Although i'm feeling old at the mo', 36 on Sunday and i've not used my brain at work for about 4 months, nothing to do day in day out apart from turn up and vegetate............ and 'try' to look professional.........hard to be the Enginnering Manager when there's fuck all to manage ... jeez pass me a bottle (lol).................. not all bad though i wouldn't have ended up in here if we hadn't been slack and my musicianship has improved greatly.................... that's better, positive outlook............... i feel better already ;-)
H302 - Yeah I know Fox Music man, it's a little bit 'family' orientated but it's my nearest for the essentials........... they don't deal with Ibanez though :-(

Crushing Day- you're right. **** **** Lots of people look up to one guitarist for ages then realise how much more talented another player is, that they can relate to far easier.
Benson, what a great guitarist. ** * No-one would doubt his ability to rip up those frets. Some would say it's fairly random note choice but listen to him scatting.
Cool. **** Myung is a super bassist **
**** No-one knows what I'm doing... or do they?
Someone must have a go, look at the clues. **** Minds that are strong can work it out in... under an hour i'd say. ** **** Nothing would please me more than someone working it out **
My friend and I cracked this code together, when it was done, we were very happy ***** So why not try. Ttry reading between the lines, look for patters.
Be inventive. **
*** Numbers may be the key to working it out. Trying that got us part way there. ** R We selecting words by use of these asterixs ** Should I be referring to myself in the plural? Try it. ** Doing this could increase your brain power????

Local Person - I work at a good ol' Tim Hortons (its a coffee/doughnut/bagel place popular in NE America). Work funds my musician habits and hopefully the state feels like approving a student loan for my school...
As for the bp JS1000, I love mine, the thing is gorgeous. I was in the mood for the dark color since I have a sunburst and a white guitar already. Although I have to say that the Champagne Gold of the JS2000 beats 'em all.

Mr Nick, there is reason behind the chaos....******
Counting *s could help for example. **** Don't expect it to give the whole thing away though. **
***Some letters are more important than others, do you know which?
Drafter37, yeah, it's pretty wrong. * But hey, you're staying alive, eh that's the important thing. **** Money is not the root of all evil, like it is often quoted, but it is the love of money that is the root of all evil. Bo!

Sharif gave me an idea. Everyone should post the song they're listening to right now. Or if you're not listening to something now, post the last song that you listened to. This might be neat if we have a lot of variety.
I'm listening to a Dave Matthews Band bootleg from August 11, 2002. Song That Jane Likes is on now...
BTP - I'd like to think that Joe hasn't created his greatest work yet. But right now, my favorite is Why.

Local Person: Temporarily Retired! Well, sort of. I managed the Parts and Accessories dept. of a Honda/Kawasaki/Suzuki/KTM/Sherco dealership for just under 8 years. Got burned out working 60-70 hours everyweek and for the longes time having to deal with young punks for employees. I did manage to put a good crew together before I left that actually care about what they're doing and things went really smooth. Anyway, my dad retired ten years ago and was never able to do anything do to his arthritis. My mom died at 53. The combination of those too things made me realize that if I want to enjoy life, I should do it now. Been off since 19 October and I'm finally bored with it. Will be starting work soon in a factory that produces parts for Toyota. Boring job but excellent benefits.
Looks like Matt got my tribute song up at the satch tribute site. Hope to see more of you guys on there too.

hello all and of course joe:
I am new to the site just getting back into the playing scene.
I am looking at marshalls for my next amp. I have a peavy 212 transtube EFX it is a pretty good amp but just can't get the right sounds, and it is not as clear as I would like.
The sounds that only a marshall could make are what I want
any how I was convinced on a JCM - TSL 2000
Now I look at marshalls website and they have the mode four monster. I am sure the price is within a few hundred $
I am trying to get a mixed sound I like Yngwie sound for the main part of the songs but am a little calmer at times. Leads I want a cross between Joe, Eddie VH , Yngwie and some good old rock and rollers like RIck Emmit and Alex L. Of rush.
Would any of you guys sugjest either of the two amps or would I need to get a rack full of pre amps? to go along with one or the other of the amps. I am sure that with either of the amps and the right effects I can make any sound I want
I am goin to try and get down and paly thru them both in a weekd or so
