The Farting Gnome: Glad to see you got Street Lethal and Second Heat, great start!!.... If you look Here, there are the covers to the albums.... Technical Difficulties (my personal fave) or Superheroes are great!!.... Getting Heavier is good, but not as good as the other two.... There is also a dvd Live At The Whisky which is a must have cause Paul plays even better than on the albums, lol!! :-).... btw, you can also hear soundclips Here....

Zenfish: Welcome to the Satch Realm, and I love your description of Dr VAI!!.... A strange mutation from Zappa, lol bro!! :-)....

Hi Mr Nick!!.... Hope your liking Uni life!!....

michelle: Did I say I was gonna layoff for awhile??.... hehe, had to help out some friends first.... ;-)

OCPS470 - Thanks for the compliments and, just for the record, the emg's that I use are passive but have a switch to engage a controlable active circuit.

mick87 - Prague is absolutely amazing!!! The PGM is holding up very well and is fast becoming my favourite instrument. If you go to My Soundclick Page there is an un-named song on there (i think i named it "dunno - any ideas?) which was done on my PGM. It is far from being finished but it will give you an idea of it.

death cube k - I wouldnt say that they are active pickups at all as they arent active all the time. To make them active you have to engage the active circuitry (the afterburner - what a shite name!!! lol) which has its own volume control. I thought these pickups were developed fairly recently for some new model Jacksons??? Maybe I am wrong......

Culox - My deepest condolences bro......

JS_JS - Happy 500 bro......

Jazzy Boy - Maybe you should change you nickname to Chilled Out Jazzy Boy lol ;-)

dragonchild - Yeah it was me who went to prague. You have to make a point of going there as it is incredible....fact!!! I can also say that the beer is great (and so is the tequila!!!).

Aarren

Joe.....I was going to save this question for your Monday night MSN chat, but what the hey.......How did you come up with the title of your new CD? Was it from the fan suggestion poll that you did with SBM or were there other influences?

I know you're going to get bashed with questions on monday so I figured I'd have a better chance in here ;)

And NO MegaBoyd....you can't ask him this one, you don't have my permission...LMAO !! just kidding Bro' :P

Hey Joe, this is my first time on the website, I just wanted to tell all of you that I got a chance to see you for the first time @ Ruth Echerd Hall, Clearwater, FL. with John Petrucci and you guys were fantastic!!! The accoustics were great in that place. I'm sorry to say that because of work I missed you guys when you came around again in '03. Well, thanks for the great music and keep playing!!!

Can anyone tell me if The Sustainiac is worth the cash or am i wasting my time.I have one of the old Yam pacifica 1221s fitted with two Seymour JB hums & a quarter pound single in the mid,all in all a great playing instrument,I like the tone of it with the JBs but it lacks a little sustain for my taste, probably because of the floating trem. Can anyone tell me if the sustainiac would compensate for it without loosing the original tone? Its either that or i,m off t Jerzy Drozd in Barca t get a custom guitar built but trying t save the cash if y get m drift.

slanshroom apparently there is adevice called a fat finger it is made by groove tubes, it is meant to increase sustain by adding mass at the headstock so as eliminating any acoustic dead spots in the guitar. It clamps to the headstock, but doesn't damage it and it looks pretty groovy too. Joe has been known to use them on occasion aswell which is always a plus! Hope that helps
