Hi all Chicken Hoe's, I'm feeling a bit sad now, like a withdrawal effect. After the whirlwind weekend, the people, the music, the scenery, the anticipation I had building up for awhile is gone now, and I feel a VOID. I'm looking at the remaining dates and they are a bit too far to drive. I like seeing and visiting new countrysides. Mrs. isn't home right now, someone hold me....... : -)

michelle - I got mail today...woohoo!

And I'll respond to your note here, to confuse everyone else. A male stripper may have delivered it, but if he did he only left in my mailbox like the mailman would have done. So you should probably ask for your money back. :-)

I'm listening now...good stuff! Which vocals are your son's? He's not Cookie Monster, is he?

I like his small keyboard line in Explanations.

I'll have more to say when I'm done listening...but everyone else should go check them out:

Giants Among Men

Listening to: Giants Among Men - And All That Follows (current song: Reaction)

I love the keyboard here too...cool!

...Austin...

Alan Mc--Yer driving me to madness! Why won't you answer me question in Facebook? What qualifications do you require for a friend? Do you need a resume? Shesh!

Lovely vids of Steve Vai, btw!

Aww, everbody - group hug for Freddy! lol!

Imagine how I felt meeting up with my two bestest buddies and having a feckin' laugh riot weekend AND seeing CF, then having them go back across the US and leave me here to sulk. I was so sad for it to end that I actually started crying on the way home from AC. lol! It was a three tissue event! lol! Tracie sent me a text that they just returned the car and they were on their way to the airport. That was all it took. Somehow that made it final, and I feckin lost it. LOL! Thems mah bitches! lol! It still makes me cry that they're so far away from me. lol! I do so love them.

Austin, thanks! Nah, my boy isn't the Cookie Monster. That's the drummer. My son has a high voice. He mixes it into the group vocals a bit. Now you know the sound that's been shaking my house all summer during recording. lol! Yes, I am going to have to ask for my monies back on that stripper. I specifically said for him to be singing songs from Evita when he handed it to you. Just can't get the bang for the buck anymore. My daughter used her fisheye lens to take some of the pics on their website. Always remember that fisheye pics aren't really flattering. lol! This is one of the funniest pics ever! A boy & his chin hairs. lol! Good kids - all of 'em!

Michelle--Airport transportation is so old and expensive and some people just don't want to fly or can't fly for some reason or another. Wouldn't you want to take a fast train to CF or Joe's concerts? I would AND I would move to Pennsylvania if there was a job building new railways and bullet trains to cross from the Atlantic to Pacific and back. Also trains could connect the Gulf coast with anywhere in the US.

Am I making any sense here? Or am I just a washed up old woman, over the hill and out of touch with the true goals of the 21st century????????

Awww Freddy, get Shannon to give you a big ole sloppy hug when she gets home, LOL!! I know how yer feelin, I was there the second Chickenfoot left the stage!! POWERFUL ADDICTION!!! Sorry u guys had to leave so fast, we never did get a group picture by the stage, darn it. Next time!! Got any pics to share?

Austin, I've been enjoying Giants Among Men meself now fer a coupla weeks :) I gotta say, those boys are good with the original music...and I love the keyboards and guitar, drums and bass!! EXCELLENT job for a first cd! Betcha Joe has heard it by now :)

I'd say it's a person's right to choose who they want as friends, whether online or in person, so if yer not getting a response back, that's obviously yer answer. Prolly time to move along to others who do want to add u, and ferget about it.

I love flying!!! Well, it can be a headache, but when yer goin to see a dear friend &/or a great concert or two, it's the BEST!! Now if only I could get chelle on a plane.........

Good day folks!!

Sorry it has taken me so long to check in after Tahoe. That trip really did me in, but as those who attended have illustrated so well, it was SOOO worth it!!

It was a pleasure to meet all of you here that made the trip. You are all wonderful people; thank you for not making me feel like the "new guy", even though I haven't been around here nearly as long as any of you. I really hope we can do that again!

Anyway, down to business, here are the pictures I took.

Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam

Chickenfoot

NOTE: I went ahead and posted ALL of the pics that I took; blurry, dark, obstructed, etc... I'll go through and remove the bad ones later.

Do The Stu: Enjoy all of that DMB this week! My girlfriend and I are both jealous, although she is the bigger fan between the two of us. My DMB is her Chickenfoot, if that makes sense, which is why she wasn't with me this weekend but has been to 10 or so DMB shows. Also, I may be wrong, but I think I got a few good shots of your camera in my Chickenfoot album!!

Did the Rock Hall of Fame concert happen on August 15?

I live in Cleveland. I could not find a word of its mention, before, during, or after, including now.

I saw Joe's post on that date from Cleveland, so I'm assuming he was here.

What happened? Did anyone, anywhere, post a review?

Thanks,

Nick

A cross continental hi speed railway would be an astronomical amount of work, effort, planning and resources, butyou do spend trillions on war shizzle! planes is the way... they can send you anywhere in the world in a day. amazing.

But leave it to the Japs, they're the kings of that jazz

I Believes the Japs actually agreed to design an underground subway system for Dublin, but the goverment/minister of transport/whatever governing bodies in charge refused since they would be turning over some profits to the Japs

Yup our nation is run by eejits... i wont get started on the new tax's and carbon tax being introduced, for such a small country with so many tax's for being green and keeping the carbon footprint low, its a tiny little place which will be so indifferent to the world climate change... we're overcharged for everything especially for trying to be green... shocking what the higher archy get away with

on a lighter note. Boobs.
