Hi everyone... Joe - I saw the setlist from your first show. It would be so cool if you could PLEASE keep Crushing Day, I Believe, and Why in the set for the US tour. I know you'll be doing a shorter set, but we'd love to still hear these songs.

neboysa / atomiq - Thank you very much for posting your show reviews. It sounds like it was an awesome show.

ovation1 - Let us know what you think about the album after you listen to it a few times.

pakihaki - Thanks for the set list!

Magrix - Don't do that.

Guitarrpsycho - Bill And Ted!!! LOL...

mrpool02 - The winners will be posted 3 days before the show.

HEADSTONE - I think that's a rerun. You can download the interview from their website, if I remember right.

Testing the new link thing... Click here to go to Google!

Joe uses a 7 string JS. I don't think you can buy it though. I was at Guitar Center last week and i saw a strange Ibanez S series. It was one of those double guitars (i dont know what they're official name is) I didn't really pay much attention to it because i was in a real hurry, but it looked really cool.

I was looking at the Korean Ibanez site today (i was bored out of my mind) and they have a really wierd JS. Its a JS700 and it has some crappy looking single coil pickups and a horrible bridge. This looked like a disgrace to all JS guitars, but then i saw they're Burndt Transparent Blue JS1000 and everything was ok. That is one beautiful guitar. But how can Joe put his name on that horrible JS700. I may just be ignorant and that could be the best guitar ever, but it sure doesn't look like it.

Just got the new album in the mail today-ordered it from Amazon.com. Love the Sleepwalk cover! My mom does too. I played it for her and she was just crazy about it. I've been getting into Surf music and such for the past year or there abouts and want to ask about New Last Jam. I hope I got that title right :-) At any rate, that song has a riff in it that reminds me a lot of Secret Agent Man. Was that intentional or just a thing that happened? Just the first few notes of the riff are very Secret Agent Man like. I am familiar with it as it is the latest Surf tune that I am learning to play :-) Will you be doing any Surf or Funk covers or origional works in that style? Rock on man, your music is beautiful. Though, I have to say what I get out of Summer Song is different than that crash derby video on your The Satch Tapes tape. It is bubbling in my mind and will become a painting.

I do not know how to express how your music has touched and inspired me. I think others on this page can understand, though they might not be able to express it in words either. You are the first guitarist whos music actually made me WANT to practice. I've enjoyed other people's playing and tried my hand at learning the guitar but no one has made me enjoy the process of learning or made me want to create music on the guitar like you. You are truly talented and I hope that you have much success and get as much enjoyment from your music as you give. Cheers! :-))

HI Joe the message board is a very busy place. Do yo read all the messages here? I doubt it, just glance eh. Anyway I just wanted to say that the new recording is pretty beautiful. I listened in on the quicktime thing and really liked it. I havn't got it yet but I will. Joe, did you enjoy your last visit here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada because you said you'd see us again but you've never come back. I remember the show really rocked even though you played a small venue-which I thought was for the better by the way-so why not come again? Hey good luck out there and thanks for not selling out.

I have to say again, what an unbelievable album EOC is.

The melodies... words cannot describe. Really.

Another little thing I noticed which I thought was kind of eerie: Listen to near the end of Clouds Race Across the Sky where the guitar cuts out and it's just bass and techno drums. Do you hear a voice saying "DA-KA" ?

Let me know.

New computer has arrived and it is in use...woohoo. A nice, big, 17 inch flat panel monitor, which kicks serious butt. Man, I read all the reviews from last night's Bulgaria show to kick off the Strange Beautiful Tour, and it must have been a night to remember, especially for the backstage pass winners! Congratulations to my friends from the Balkans who were the lucky winners. The setlist Pakihaki posted sounds awesome, unfortunately, that gets cut almost in half for the American leg of the tour.

There is nothing like driving down the road, with your sunroof down, cranking "Summer Song". Period. CAUTION: Driving while listening to Satriani may cause excessive speeding.

JBlaze, you've never seen Joe live before? Man o' shit are you in for a treat!! Do you have any of Joe's videos/dvd's? He's AMAZING to watch in person! Totally amazing!

My husband and I just seen DT for the first time in March and we were blown away. Joe & the band, PLUS DT....oh lawd, hep me restrain mah-seff!! The best of the best! Good luck on the passes!

Andy of UK, ZZ's song is soooo sweet. I wish it would go on longer, but I'll take it the way it is. A Piece of Liquid (love that title) is just a smooth song with a cool beat. A GREAT segway for Psycho Monkey too.

By the by, it's 88 degrees here on my porch thermometer that's been in the shade all day, and it's 11:20 at night! PA is HOT!!!

Ok gang... I just confirmed with JS Clone about the little voice at the end of Clouds Race Across The Sky... And yes... I had turn it up real loud to hear it, of course I'm really deaf too.... That's what you get when you work with loud woodworking machines all day long and then come home and make loud ear piercing noises on your guitar after work... murder to the ears...

Michelle...you think it's hot up there in PA, try living downstream here in Baltimore, where we have the pleasure of living just a little closer to the equator. I just walked out to the Progmobile (my car...cute, huh?) to get something out of it, and you could fry eggs on the sidewalk right now. Breathing outside is another chore I won't even address.

BTW, I didn't see you on the show attendance lists for the PA or NY shows, which one are you going to? I will be slinging all manner of rubber guitar up at the NY show this year. Quite ironically, I won't be attending the Baltimore show at all. Pier 6 Concert Pavilion is about a fifteen minute drive down the street for me, BUT...

#1: I will be working that night.

#2: New York is my second home and where I left my heart and I sure could use an excuse to drive back up there.

#3: I have been to Pier 6 for a couple of shows, and the venue blows goats. I don't want to talk about it. Such is life...

I was just browsing on the E.T. site tonight before stopping in to have my two cents worth of say. Of all the possible sites...hmmm....

Kudos, and g'night, people. Methinks I'm going to go and catch some winkeye. :)

Vetteguy43 - The guitars with two necks are called, oddly enough, "double-neck guitars". :-)

JS Clone 1 - I listened and didn't hear it. Can you tell me what time it appears?
