Absolutely brilliant show. Vicar street was a great venue for the intimate gig.

Seeing as I went to both shows I had better include both reviews, as stated earlier I think the Vicar Street venue is far superior to the Point Depot because it is significantly smaller so you get much closer to the artist. I have seen Joe twice in the Point and Twice in Vicar street and I have to say he really kicked ass there. The venue was civilised and they crowd well mannered (I suppose as long as we Irish boys can have our beer there'll be no problem). Along with the stunning performance of the four guys you get really close, put it this way, I got to shake Joes hand twice during the course of a gig plus Joe literally handed me one of the picks (That's how close you get - armslength) I got one of his picks, one from Stu and a Drumstick from Jeff. I was just amazed I didn't know who to look at, Joe's amazing playing style (Hand Capo technique among other things I've no name for), Simmilar stuff from Stu on his Bass plus that mind blowing solo or Jeffs wicked performance on that massive drumkit. I see a number of the fans actually met the guys after, I didn't know you could, Oh well next time maybe. Keep up the good work guys and please stick to Vicar Street. The only problem is now I have to wait until next time.

I managed to see the first nights gig also- amazing is just for starters. It blew my mind sitting right in front of The Master at work. Myself and the brother Diki Hughie had front row seats right in front of Joe and we managed to get two plectrums, both different. Best gig and the sound was spot on. Roll on the next G3 gig and come back soon

Quite an enjoyable gig. Joe and the crew looked like they were enjoying themselves. The most memorable part of the gig, however, was Stu's Bass Medley solo in which he played tracks from the end of the Beatles' Abbey road as well as Bach's Moonlight sonata.

3rd time I've seen Joe, 3 all-time great gigs! Set list last night was superb (Ceremony, Devil's slide... one high after another!). Great venue for a gig. Hope to see you again real soon Joe!

Well as my good friend Grahamie put it, all credit is due to the master of modern Guitar, and this gig is definitely going to Rock. There is no doubt in my mind that Joe Satriani is THE BEST Guitarist of all time. I can't wait for this one because it is on the day after I finish school FOREVER!!!!! What better way is there to celebrate than to see Joe play LIVE in your home Town?

Looking forward to this gig...There is no doubt about it Joe Satriani is possibly the greatest guitarist of all time...Saw the student, Steve Vai at Vicar St...Mind-blowing stuff indeed...If that was anything to go by, Joe's performance will be equally impressive in this excellent venue...Remember what the great man said..."A pupil is not above his teacher, but everyone that is perfectly instructed will be like his teacher."...As Joe would humbly admit himself, he may not be the worlds fastest guitarist or even the worlds most technical player but certainly he has the greatest guitar mind of all time...Not since the days of Zyryab, who lived at the end of the last Millenium has there been such a notable master of this great instument...Can't Wait!...
