Plus a show not to really forget! Joe is each better time. Much, much creativity and ability. I do not know as it obtains to create as many variations of sounds. It goes of the heavy one to the soft one with an incredible easiness. It is really THE BEST! THEY DO NOT LOSE THE NEXT SHOW!

GOD BLESS YOU JOE!!!!!

The Best Show than I saw in my life, but he can played "Surfing with the Alien", "Crushing Day", "Back to Shalla Ball", "Motorcycle Driver" and i want to see a time with a Drum Solo with Jeff, but don't possible ... I think "Time" is not a good song to start the show (in spite of beginned the show exploding), and "A Train Of Angels" is a great music to finish the show, because is a very heavy and touching. ... I wanna buy the "Time Machine" CD, but i can't find him, is a Rare Cd here ... Thank ya, and sorry for my bad english.

Very good show from Joe!!!!!..but it had two mistakes....I think that "Time" is not the right song as opener show and the second one was that "Surfing..." was not played...what a pity!!!!!..but the show was perfect in production, tecnique..

What a great show !Better than the first time.I loved the setlist, mainly because he played old songs and many songs from Crystal Planet."TIME" live is amazing!! I hope he record a live album with these songs that he played in Rio de Janeiro soon.

What a great show!!! As if it were possible, Joe's playing is getting better every time. He's the true master of the guitar. Stu and Jeff were also amazing. Stu's solo began just after "Love Thing" and he started by playing the chords to that song in a beautiful, gentle arrangement. Then he proceeded to his slapbass massacre. The setlist covered many stages of Joe's career, but left out Not Of This Earth (from which "Memories", "Driving At Night" and "The Snake" would be great, in my opinion) and Time Machine (I'd love to hear "All Alone" and "Mighty Turtle Head"). I also missed "The Forgotten part 2", "I Believe", "Echo", "Crushing Day", "Cryin" and "Lights Of Heaven", but then it would be a 4-hour concert (Hhmmm, not a bad idea...). The setlist, not in order, was: Time, Devil's Slide, Satch Boogie, Crush Of Love, Borg Sex, Flying In a Blue Dream, Circles, Ice 9, Summer Song, (intermission), House Full of Bullets, One Big Rush, Until We Say Goodbye, Ceremony, The Extremist, Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing, Always With Me Always With You, Rasberry Jam Delta V, Love Thing, Cool#9, Crystal Planet, Big Bad Moon. I think that was it. I really missed the Surfing with theAlien/Friends encore. As always, you expect surprises from Joe's music. Devil's Slide was the best song: heavy, powerful, works much better onstage than in the record, one would not anticipate that (at least I haven't). Love Thing was also amazing (unbelievable guitar sound, very emotional playing). Cool#9 gained a fresh (and "cool") arrangement. Borg Sex also works nicely live (I'd love to hear other songs from Engines Of Creation - the "techno" songs work nicely with the heavier live treatment - maybe "Champagne?" and "Flavor Crystal 7"). I think "House Full Of Bullets" is not a top live song. Joe's playing was most amazing (as far as technique goes) in "Crystal Planet" (the open string parts are incredible). I got a chance to meet Joe after the show :-) He's such a nice guy!! I wouldn't imagine that he seems so calm, despite his aggressive, unstoppable guitar playing. He said he and Steve Vai are trying to re-initiate G3 - I hope they do and come to Rio de Janeiro!! It'd be great so see Eric Johnson (or else Steve Morse, Rik Emmett or Andy Timmons as new additions to G3). Thanks Joe for the "strange beautiful" music and the endless inspiration. I hope you come back soon and I look forward to your future CDs. I hope you enjoy the tapes I handed you as well. Cheers.

I'd rather choose 1000 to rank this gig in Rio last night. Man, we kicked some serious musical ass together!

Portrait the house jam packed, truly like sardines forming a choral. By half time I was voiceless... I still can't barely speak this morning.

Back at the hotel door I was fortunate enough to say hello personally, "Please continue to inspire us!" what I said to him.

And with that musical inspiration I'll have a better life from now on!

Muito Legal o Show, só não foi perfeito porque não voltou para o "Bis" e não tocou duas músicas que eu adoro: ECHO e I BELIEVE. De resto .... o cara é foda! Ele viaja. Muito bom ! Se alguem tiver o repertório do show, será que poderia me enviar? Eu agradeceria muito! rodrigo@eng.uerj.br Valeu!
