Hello everybody! I know that nobody cares but WEBMASTER: I still think that blue and green should never be seen!

I just checked out some stuff on Jeff Tyson, man its sad seeing a Satch student play the organ after T-Ride went down.
Could anybody give me a link to where I could sample some
T-Ride.

Mr Nick - I was having a bit of a chunter there but glad there are some voices in agreement. I certainly wont be changing my taste in music just to follow like sheep and stay in with the popular rubbish that's about these days. Glad to see bands like Deep Purple and the Scorpions are still going, photos of them this month in Classic Rock as well as a big piece on Jimi Hendrix. Bit on Robert Plant too, going to see him in October.
Naty - I hope life comes out with a bang at 40. I'm considering a tattoo at the moment, don't know if I will go through with it, could be a coming up to 40 thing.
Anibur - did you say you had a Satriani hat, where did you get that from I didn't see any at SBE.

Sharon ~ Happy birthday to your 6' lump! I had to laugh when I read that. My son's nic-name is Lump (he's 10) and my cats name is Lumpy (he's 17). Lots of Lumps in this house. LOL! I'm right behind you in the "approaching 40" catagory. I have a birthday coming up in 13 days. eek! I'm happy to be turning 38, but I hope I'm just as happy turning 40! LOL!

Sharon and Michelle- 40's are fine..its all a state of mind.....thats what I told the back pain I felt while trying to sleep last night, LOL. I'm 42 and full of life. Look at Joe...he looks great and probably feels great too, althoughI will not speak for the Man. WOOOweee, life is good. I'm on summer break from teaching, how could it not be. Rock on.

Hey Joe, I was watching the highlights of the SF Giants game last night (August 1st) and as they were showing the highlights your name flashed across the screen and I was like holy crap man.........my main mans name was just on the tv. I was pretty excited. Did you do the National Anthem again or what buddy? Just curious. Keep rockin' out buddy..........Adam

I've seen a few post here and there about SBM, but not as much as I thought there would be. In my humble opinion (like I have one) I think this is some of Joe's best work to date, if not his best work ever.
minus human: I here ya bro, but I think you misunderstood. Metallica is not my fav, Zeppelin is. Too bad about Layne Staley. Alice in Chains was my favorite band of recent times(90's). Are Metallica still a band?I haven't heard anything about them since Jason left.
Q:What do the Blue Man Group and Joe have in common?
A:they have shaved heads, they play instrumental's,they hold their mouth's in funny O-shaped positons while preforming.

Satch3d - Joe comes to Toronto before he comes near Jersey for your show. You could send your demo to me and I could hand it to Joe. This way it gives him a chance to listen to it by the time he meets up with you. Just a suggestion.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but there's a quick Joe mention in Guitar One (the one with the blue cover). My little brother found it at a gas station somewhere in Illinois while we were driving home from New York.

Moon Knight - I think the closest show to San Jose is 8/11/02 in Concord.
Master Yoda / others - Steve Vai mentioned somewhere that BOTH shows were filmed for the DVD. I guess the best footage from each night will be used.
eebysubb - Yeah, Joe reads this site. About the French thing...I think some sites can translate webpages for you...look around on www.google.com.

Hey everyone !!!
Well, another year has passed (very quickly I might add), and I have attained the ripe old age of 33 !!! It seems like every year around my B-day, I think back on what I have accomplished so far (I'm sure everyone does, right?) Unfortunately, I took the wrong path early on.....I was having too much fun partying to even consider going to college, that is something I will regret for a long time. But I look at it this way, I still have plenty of time to do that, and someday I will :)
On a more positive note, I have two of the greatest children in the world who look up to me and love me very much. I could'nt possibly live without them, and I work my tail off 40 hours a week to make sure they are'nt hungry. No complaints here !
Also, despite the abuse I have inflicted on myself and my brain...lol...in the years before my children were born, I can still tear up an electric guitar :) Interestingly enough, I have been deaf in my right ear for as long as I can remember, and despite that, I have an excellent ear for music. I can tune my guitar better than any store bought tuner on the planet!
I'd like to add very briefly that one should never make fun of a person who has a hearing problem (or any other kind of problem)....my older brother and sister used to tease me all the time and it had a damaging effect on my self-esteem very early in my life. It has taken me years to get that back.....so be kind to the less fortunate :)
OK, enough blubbering, I'm going to go out tonight and have a few beers with my friends to celebrate the 33rd year.......be good everybody......you are all my friends :) You too Joe :) Oh and yes, NonSmoker is still nonsmoking
