Random Question - Does anyone here like the band Garbage? I've been listening to them a lot lately. Their music isn't really comparable to Satch, but there are some elements to it that I REALLY like.

mattking: Kuul little jam there, again, the stage is small, lol, TJ seems to never stop growing, and your bro is not on rhythm anymore??....Keep jamming man, that was tight....
canchito: Welcome!!....And change your name to STUchito and you'll find out!! ;-)
SupaaDave: If you can, get them both, OR, I would suggest, getting "The 7th Song" because it has a little of everything on there (VAI's spiritual 7th song from all his cd's), and it has his "Merry Axemas" song on there plus "Boston Rain Melody/
Warm Regards" as a bonus!!....You will love it!!......Warm Regards is my fave VAI song, absolutely beautiful and is off the Album "Fire Garden"....Let us know what you get, but I would suggest "P&W" AND "The 7th Song"!!....
BTW, did you wear out your first copy of CP!! ;-)
Do The Stu: Have'nt heard anything by "Garbage"....I'll have to check em' out....

The Bob - I spent some time investigating that before the tickets went on sale and could find nothing. I went to the venue box office and was told that they set up the seating differently from event to event and that my best bet would be to talk to Ticketswest. After buying tickets not knowing what I was getting, I ended up talking to the Ticketswest dude who did his best to describe to me my seat location.

Matt - Where's Pat? I see the stage presence is starting to increase a tad. Learn how to be lively. The visuals should match the music in some way. Progress is good.

DoTheStu & Stuvation, actually I borrowed my 1st copy of CP out to a friend and never saw it again. That was over 4 years ago...lol....Oh well....at least a couple of Satch fans were born out of that :) I'm having a great time refreshing my memory of the disc....CP rocks !!

Stuvation - Garbage is different...you'll probably be surprised if you haven't heard any of their music before. You may know the song I'm Only Happy When It Rains from their first album, released back in 1995. I guess you could listen to some sound clips at CD Universe, although I think you really need to hear entire songs to understand the band.
Anyhoo...

Zach: Sent you a blank email. I found the Intonation adjusting keys on stewmac.com, it's just that it says it's discontinued. And the tremsetter I want is not the Hipshot one. It's the Ibanez Backstop, and that is not in stewmac. So i doubt I can find it...

Mike: The recording and set up of the "wind chime" went well. I did have a hard time with the recording. the generator went out right in the middle of it all, and I had to stay a little longer to get a good "save" of its sounds. I have pictures, too!
Now i need help with some links to the wav and jpg. Soon, my man, soon. My arms are fatigued to the max. Trembolt, huh. You guys break that many strings? D'Addario!!!!! I have had only one string "Pop" on me and that was because I mounted it wrong. More Star Trek stuff on the way via email. Look for that after saturday. KTF Joe: I'm looking forward to this wednesdays RockLine!!!! KTF

OK I've tried this elsewhere but to no avail...anyone know of a cheap (under 300 bucks) way to input a 1/4" (guitar) cable into your computer? I've tried going thru my amp (it's a small 8" Squier POS) and coming back thru with a guitar cable and converting that to mini cable, but it comes out sounding lie crap (which I expected). There's something at Best Buy that'll let you do it but it's about $130 and for that much I'd just assume spend more money and get something made for guitar specifically. I don't have a MIDI input in my laptop...just looking for something that I can plug my guitar into direct or thru my amp that'll sound decent with either firewire or USB connection to my computer. Any suggestions? I've thought about the multi FX processors that do it but not sure if any of them are worth the money. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.
Alan
